Tell me something that’ll make me think
I need someone who's good for more than a drink
Say something relevant if you want my attention
Conversation is the key to my soul and affection

Nothing wrong with just chatting about this about that
But my lover you see must wear many a hat
Some say that I’m difficult, demanding for sure
But if our brains they engage, then our love will endure

Tempting to touch, easy on my eyes
These things are important, I cannot deny
But if that’s all that you have, then we must be clear
You’ll be Mr. Right Now, not Mr. Year after Year

A kind heart a must, yet brimming with strength
With the right one, I won’t care if we live in a tent
Honest and loving and willing to lead
But ready to follow, if that’s what we need

Comfy in your skin, I must love how you move
Must love how you smell and love how you groove
Arrogant you say? “No, direct”, I return
I know what works for me, like you know what you earn

If one does not know what one wants, then I ask
